Your English Time is a language school specialised in Spanish for Foreigners since 1991. We are based in Valencia city which is the east of Spain on the Mediterranean coast, about 350 km from Barcelona and other 350 km from Madrid.

On arriving at Your English Time you will be given a short test to determine your level of Spanish, which will enable us to place you in a suitable class.

Your programme of studies will keep you full occupied all morning. And on most evenings we organized a social and cultural activity for you either al school or in the city. 

Your main course lessons are designed to develop your language ability in the skills of Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing with the emphasis placed on building up your confidence and improving your confidence and improving your accuracy in Grammar, Pronunciation and Vocabulary and as a whole your Fluency in communication which is our aim.

OUR COURSES

We offer Spanish language courses in four levels:

Beginner
Elementary
Intermediate
Advanced

We are also an accredited centre of Spanish through Instituto Cervantes which is an official spanish organisation for Spanish Language throughout the world, and belonging to Salamanca University. El Instituto Cervantes holds its examinations twice a year in November and May.

LESSONS:

Our lessons start at 9,30 am, finishing at 2 pm. 
Our classes have got 60 minutes of length.
The lessons time is divided into:

- Spanish Language and Culture
- Spanish literature
- Communication
- Writing (letters, compositions, essays, etc).

Evenings: We have got programmed visits to official places and the most outstanding sights in the city.
Excursions to nearby places with cultural importance, for example visiting Játiva's castle, and Sagunto Roman Theatre
which is only 20 km from Valencia, etc.

We have got entertainment visits as well, to pubs, "tapas" in typical bars and visiting the old centre of Valencia which is dated to the Moors times.

We also visit some beaches nearby (Cullera, Gandia, Saler, etc.)

COUSES OFFERS:

We offer four weeks courses (28 days).
The course also includes:

- Tuition
- Stay with the host family (a single student per family).
- Half board (or full board) the whole week.
- Washing and ironing students clothes.
- Official visits ( 1 evening a week).
- Illness insurance during the stay.
- Maps of the city and a folder per student.

The course does not include:

- Books which are supplied by bookshops on a percentage of discount for our students.
- Excursions to Barcelona, Madrid or other important Spanish cities.
- Tickets to museums outside Valencia.
- Travel arrangements.

 

VALENCIA:

Situated on the east coast of Spain by the Mediterranean sea within easy reach from Madrid or Barcelona, Valencia enjoys a very pleasant climate (22º Celsius) and a reputation as one of the most attractive seaside costs in Spain.

Also famous for its historical buildings (La Lonja, La Catedral, El Miguelete), hanging bridges which cross the river bed and divides the city into two parts. As well as the river bed which ends into the most modern building which is the Valencian music hall "Palau de la Música" where sometimes there are concerts, for example, "flamenco", clasical music and also sometimes there are shows of fireworks in front of the "Palau".

Our centre is right two minutes walk from the Palau.
